The Cyber Resilience Synergy Network (CRSN) Cluster_

CIPHER is an official member of the Cyber Resilience Synergy Network (CRSN), a powerful alliance of seven pioneering initiatives financed under the European Union’s Digital Europe Programme. While individual projects target distinct operational domains, the cluster operates on a shared strategic and technological DNA to transition European cybersecurity from reactive monitoring to proactive defense.

Key Pillars of Our Mission_

Autonomous & Proactive Defense

Leveraging cutting-edge technologies—including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and autonomous agents—to transition from manual, reactive security to proactive threat detection, continuous anomaly monitoring, and automated, zero-touch incident response.

Securing Critical Interconnected Ecosystems

Safeguarding the unified compute continuum and essential supply chains—spanning 5G telecommunications, interconnected smart cities, financial services, complex logistics, and water utilities—by implementing zero-trust architectures, secure-by-design frameworks, and privacy-preserving data analytics.

Collaborative Threat Intelligence

Breaking down data silos by developing secure, trusted, cross-border exchange platforms (integrating advanced SIEM and MISP tools) that allow essential organizations, telecom operators, and next-generation Security Operations Centres (SOCs) to seamlessly share actionable Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI).

Distributed Trust
& Data Sovereignty

Guaranteeing information and data integrity across multiple administrative domains using tamper-proof Distributed Ledger Technologies (Blockchain), smart-contracts-based access, and advanced encryption techniques.

Alignment
with European Regulation

Designing architectures that natively support and automate strict compliance with critical European regulations and standards, most notably the NIS2 Directive, the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), and GDPR, while utilizing Zero-Trust Networking and Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs).

Empowering the Human Element & Capacity Building

Actively bridging the cybersecurity skills gap and enhancing operational readiness across the European Union by providing technical professionals, policymakers, and industry stakeholders with continuous hands-on training, specialized learning centers, workshops, and real-time “Cyber Arena” testing environments.
